A: Unfortunatley we no longer accept payment by cheque.
Q: Do these sink accessories work with sinks from other manufacturers?
A: We cannot guarantee that our accessories will work with sinks from other manufacturers but in many cases they probably will. Our orbit wastes and pipwork kits, for example, are industry standard sizes.
Q: How do I check that an accessory will fit my abode sink?
A: The abode sinks brochure lists accessories for each of our sinks - you can also check this on the main abode website www.abodedesigns.co.uk or consult your local retailer.
In general, Orbit wastes suit all sinks, but are supplied with two different lengths of bolt, depending on whether the sink is made of stainless steel or thicker materials. Our standard basket strainer waste can be substituted into any abode sink as an alternative to the Orbit waste.
Bowl mats, drainer mats, and glass covers are designed to fit particular sinks, whereas plate drainers are universal.
Q: How will my order be delivered?
A: Most spare parts are sent by courier and will be delivered to your address during daytime hours. We cannot specify a delivery time but the courier will leave a notification if you are not in, so that you can arrange re-delivery or collect in person from your local depot at a more convenient time.
Some smaller parts such as fixing clips are delivered by Royal Mail in a padded bag and will be posted through your letterbox.
Q: I am a retailer - can I buy at a discount from abode shop?
A: Sorry, no you can't buy at a discount from abode shop. But all abode products are available to buy from our network of distributors.
Q: Is it cheaper to buy abode accessories online from abode shop than it would be to buy from my local retailer?
A: No, the prices on this website are recommended retail prices and should not differ from the normal price charged by your local abode retailer. However, you may find it more convenient and quicker to access these products from abode shop.
Q: Tell me about the "Clearance Taps" section?
A: As a design company, we regularly update, improve and refresh our product range. So sometimes we have small quantities of stock available to clear. These items are perfect quality and come in brand new condition with the normal packaging and fittings. They are only available whilst stocks last.
